The NBYWA Numbered Events are supershows booked and operated by the National Backyard Wrestling Alliance, sometimes with the cooperation of a member federation. The events came about due to the founder Skull Jr.'s interest in supershows. So far, there have been eight of these events. On December 14, 2012, Skull Jr. announced the end of the Numbered Events to be replaced with the NBYWA King's Card. The final event will be NBYWA 10.
NBYWA 5 had two of the three matches called a draw, once again due to nobody showing. Skull Jr., fed up with the Michigan Wrestling Association's lack of events being held, quit the federation and revived Total Hardcore Wrestling. He also resumed his reign as THW World Champion.
THW 23/NBYWA 8, though booked by THW was hosted by All-Out Championship Wrestling, a partner of the federation. This was the first NBYWA supershow to span over more than one day (though it was not the first planned to).
